-
In a small pan over medium heat, cook dates in water for about 15 minutes or until they can be easily mashed with a fork.
-
Purée dates with a hand blender. If you don’t have one, stir vigorously with a wooden spoon. The texture won’t be as smooth but it will be fine.
-
Add chocolate chips and cocoa. Stir till the mixture is homogeneous. Add cranberries and mix to distribute evenly.
-
Transfer preparation to a bowl and place in the freezer for at least one hour (it’s much easier to handle when it’s very cold).
-
Rub a little coconut oil or canola oil on your hands. Take about 1 tablespoon to form each little ball.
-
Roll the balls in cocoa, finely chopped almonds or hazelnuts, or unsweetened coconut.

Organic Dried Cranberries Sweetened with Apple Juice and Sliced
We grow larger berries, then steep them in apple juice before gently drying them. This is why our berries are plumper and softer, for a result you can savour with our sweetened dried cranberries.
