Cranberry, orange and sage Martini

Ingredients

1 oz vodka

0.5 oz red cider vermouth

0.5 oz 100% pure and unsweetened Patience Fruit and Co organic cranberry juice 

0.5 oz maple syrup

1 sage leaf

Garnish

1 slice of dried orange

1 sage leaf

With this martini, we honor our good organic cranberries and give ourselves a taste of the holiday season. We like to mix our 100% pure organic cranberry juice with red cider vermouth as these two flavors blend wonderfully. A bit of fresh sage, a dried orange peel, and voilà!

1 oz vodka

0.5 oz red cider vermouth

0.5 oz 100% pure and unsweetened Patience Fruit and Co organic cranberry juice 

0.5 oz maple syrup

1 sage leaf

Garnish

1 slice of dried orange

1 sage leaf

Steps

  1. In a shaker or mixing glass, pour all the ingredients.

  2. Add ice and shake vigorously or stir with a bar spoon.

  3. Using a cocktail strainer, strain into the glass.

  4. Garnish with a dried orange peel and fresh sage.

Recommendations

You can get dried orange slices at most mixology specialty shops. You can also make them at home by placing the oven rack in the center and preheating to 80 °C (175 °F). Place the orange slices on the baking sheet and bake for 1 hour. Flip the slices and continue baking for 1 more hour. Let them dry on a rack for 3 hours. They can be stored for 3 months at room temperature in an airtight container. Cheers!
