The term “Website” used in these Terms of Sale, Shipping and Returns (the “Terms“) means the public website available at https://www.patiencefruitco.com (or any other URL address used from time to time by Patience Fruit & Co), as well as, where applicable, the various social media accounts of Patience Fruit & Co (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
The terms “Patience Fruit & Co”, “we”, “us” and “our” used in these Terms designate Fruit d’Or Inc., doing business under the name Patience Fruit & Co, and where applicable, its affiliated or related companies.
Patience Fruit & Co reserves the right to modify or discontinue a product displayed on its Website at any time and without notice.
All our products are subject to their availability and we reserve the right to impose a maximum quantity per order on any order. If the product(s) are not available or if a maximum quantity applies, Patience Fruit & Co will not be obliged to fulfil an order for such unavailable products nor for products that are beyond the maximum quantity and you will not be required to pay for the unsupplied products.
Some products may only be ordered online through our Website.
We do our best for the products displayed on our Website to represent the colors and physical aspects of the products as closely as possible and to provide accurate descriptions of the products. However, we do not guarantee that the appearance of the products you will receive will be consistent in all respects with the products appearing on our Website. We also do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, completeness of the product descriptions or other information provided on our Website.
Because they are natural, our products can vary from one harvest/lot to another. Our products have been approved and tested to ensure that the best ingredients possible are used. However, they may differ in color, texture, taste or odor from previously purchased products.
The prices on our Website are in Canadian dollars. Patience Fruit & Co reserves the right to change the price of the products offered on its Website without prior notice.
Unless otherwise expressly provided in writing on our Website, the prices displayed on our Website do not include taxes, customs duties, shipping and delivery charges and any current or future taxes or government charges (including federal goods and services tax and provincial sales tax) applicable to the sale, delivery, shipment or storage of products that Patience Fruit & Co must pay or collect, such taxes and charges being your responsibility and will be added to the price at the time you place your order.
Rebates, promotions, discounts and any other reduction on the regular sale price of a product only apply to purchases made during the period for which such rebate, promotion, discount or reduction is in effect
Payment and billing information
Payment on our Website is made through Stripe’s online payment solutions. You can pay by credit card.
By using a credit card you warrant that you are authorized to use this payment method and that you authorize Stripe or the card issuer or operator to debit the total amount of the order, including the amount of your purchase as well as the cost of shipping (if applicable), taxes and other charges.
If your payment method cannot be verified, is invalid or not accepted, your order is suspended or canceled and Patience Fruit & Co shall have no obligation with respect thereof.
If you want to update your payment method, you can do so at any time on your next order directly in Stripe.
We reserve the right, without being compelled, to limit the sales of our products to a certain geographical region or to certain countries or territories.
Patience Fruit & Co ensures shipping, in Canada only, of all its products through various carriers, including Canada Post and United Parcel Service. The carrier may vary from one region to another.
Once your order has been validated, Patience Fruit & Co prepares it with care. Each item is adequately packaged, which ensures that you will receive your products as you would at the grocery store.
Delivery time is usually between 2 to 10 business days (depending on your region) after an order has been placed on our Website. All delivery times are approximate and not guaranteed.
You agree to pay the shipping and handling charges displayed at the time of completing your online purchase. Shipping charges vary from one region to another and will be calculated at the time you place your order. Shipping is free with a purchase of $45 or more, before taxes and after rebates. Shipping to remote areas is available and priced according to the table below.

We reserve the right to increase, decrease, add or eliminate shipping and handling charges from time to time. However, you will be informed of the fees you will have to pay before finalizing your order.
Receiving the Products
When you receive the products, you are responsible for inspecting ALL products in order to verify that they have not been damaged during shipping. If an item of your order has been damaged, please send us the details and a photo of the item by email at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can take the appropriate measures.
If you receive your order and a product is missing, please contact us by email at email@example.com. The missing product may be replaced if you so wish and the shipping charges will be borne by Patience Fruit & Co. If you no longer wish to receive the missing product or if it is no longer in stock, Patience Fruit & Co will reimburse you the purchase price of the product and the related shipping charges.
Order Change and Cancellation
If you wish to change or cancel an order you have just placed, please contact customer service by email at firstname.lastname@example.org and indicate your order number and the changes you wish to make.
Please note that it may not be possible to change or cancel your initial order if such order has already been processed.
Returns and Refunds
Our products are exchangeable or refundable within 14 days of receipt. After this period, we will accept NO RETURNS and offer NO REFUNDS.
Patience Fruit & Co will notify you by email of the amount paid on your credit card in case of reimbursement.
Patience Fruit & Co does not reimburse shipping costs except if the exchange or the refund results from an error made by Patience Fruit & Co in the order.
No return and no refund will be made regarding a product that has been used.
Furthermore, if you have received the wrong item, please contact our customer service by email at email@example.com so that we can remedy the situation. If you have any questions or concerns regarding a product, please contact us by email and we will be happy to assist you.
Notwithstanding any other provision of these Terms, Patience Fruit & Co shall not be liable to you for any loss or damage you may suffer, directly or indirectly, as a result of Patience Fruit & Co’s supply of its products being prevented or delayed by an event of force majeure, including but not limited to war, terrorism, labour dispute, unavailability of or delays in transportation, insufficient production capacity, unavailability or shortage of fuel, pandemic or other unforeseen circumstance or cause beyond Patience Fruit & Co’s control.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
The version of these Terms applicable to an order or any other transaction you have made on our Website is the version in effect at the date and time you place your order, as displayed on our Website at that time. Each time you place an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted the terms governing such order.
