February is definitely the shortest and coldest month in Canada. To make the most of it, lace up your boots and go play outside! Yes, we know – sometimes it’s hard to muster the motivation to get all bundled up and head out the door, but it’s a great way to feel like a kid again, forget all about the futilities of everyday life, and breathe in the pure, cold air… By the end of the day, you’ll head happily back indoors, all rosy-cheeked, to light a fire and sip a big mug of tea.
So here’s our list of cottages and chalets just waiting to be discovered! We chose them for various reasons – sure, great décor counts for something, but the main thing is what activities are available on-site. What’s your pleasure? Snowshoeing, skiing, cocooning, or just curling up by the fire with a good book… we’ll start you off on the right foot! There’s a lot to love about February – just get away and let your hair down!
