125 ml (1/2 cup) + 565 ml (2 1/4 cups) Patience Fruit & Co 100% Pure Wild Blueberry Juice
225 g (1 cup) granulated sugar (or 250 ml – 1 cup – maple syrup, honey or agave)
125 ml (1/2 cup) fresh-pressed lime juice
125 ml (1/2 cup) fresh-pressed lemon juice
250 ml (1 cup) fresh mint leaves, with the stalk
To serve
65 ml (1/4 cup) to 85 ml (1/3 cup) lemonade concentrate (half a highball-type glass filled with ice)
1.5 oz vodka (optional)
Sparkling water
Lemon slices
Sprigs of fresh mint
Reusable bamboo straws
Cooking time 2 to 3 minutes Portions 1.5 L (6 cups) with sparkling water // 750 ml (3 cups) with lemonade concentrate
Here’s a refreshing recipe for lemonade with wild blueberries and mint that everyone will love. You can make it for the kids with tap water instead of sparkling water if you like, but the grown-ups will probably prefer the sparkling version with vodka! If you like your lemonade not-too-sweet, just add a bit more sparkling water and there you go…
You could replace the white sugar with a natural sweetener like maple syrup, honey or agave nectar for extra yumminess. The lemonade concentrate with blueberries will keep for up to a week in the fridge so you can enjoy it every time you feel thirsty.

In a small pan over medium-low heat, mix sugar (or maple syrup) with 125 ml (1/2 cup) Patience Fruit & Co 100% Pure Wild Blueberry Juice and lemon and lime juices. Stir till sugar has completely dissolved. Remove from heat and add mint.

With a wooden spoon, crush mint leaves against the sides and bottom of the pan. Set aside for 5 minutes. Remove mint leaves and filter if necessary. Allow to cool.

Mix blueberry syrup base with other juices in a jug. Refrigerate till serving time.

To serve

Fill a highball-type glass with ice and add lemonade concentrate and vodka. Stir gently with a bar spoon (three turns).
Add sparkling water and decorate with a slice of lemon and/or sprig of fresh mint.
