Peach-Cherry Lemonade

Ingredients

– 125 ml (½ cup) sugar

– 625 ml (2 ½ cups) water

– 3 peaches, pitted and quartered

– 5 lemons

– 125 ml (½ cup) Patience Fruit & Co cherry juice

– Mint sprigs

Toast the end of school and the start of the summer holidays with a perfect recipe for lemonade!

Refreshing and bursting with sunny flavours, it’s a yummy mix of cherry and peach juices that the kids will love. Make it your  go-to drink all summer long!

Ingredients

– 125 ml (½ cup) sugar

– 625 ml (2 ½ cups) water

– 3 peaches, pitted and quartered

– 5 lemons

– 125 ml (½ cup) Patience Fruit & Co cherry juice

– Mint sprigs

Steps

  1. In a small pot, bring the sugar to boil with the 125 ml (½ cup) water.Stir until the sugar has dissolved and forms a syrup. Remove from heat and set aside.

  2. In a food processor, puree the peaches with 250 ml (1 cup) water until you achieve a smooth consistency.

  3. Place the puree in a cloth. Squeeze into a large bowl to get all the juice from the puree. Set aside.

  4. Juice 4 lemons.

  5. In a pitcher, mix the peach juice, lemon juice, cherry juice, syrup and the remaining water.

  6. Refrigerate. Just before serving, put some ice in the pitcher and garnish with a few sprigs of mint and a slice of lemon.
