Citrus, Cranberries, and Kombucha Virgin Cocktail

Ingredients

A few sprigs of fresh thyme
Freshly pressed juice from 2 regular or blood oranges
Freshly pressed juice from 1 lemon or lime
180 ml (3/4 cup) Patience Fruit & Co pure organic cranberry juice
15 ml (1 tbsp) honey
500 ml (2 cups) ginger kombucha (or another flavor of your choice)

If you want to be ultra-trendy for Easter brunch (and take a break from traditional mimosas!), try this mocktail with citrus, cranberries, and kombucha. Just because it’s alcohol-free doesn’t mean it’s boring! Prepare yourself for a delicious harmony of flavors in this combination of citrus fruits, pure cranberry juice, thyme, and ginger!

Kombucha is a drink made from fermented sweetened tea, containing loads of living bacteria that may potentially be beneficial to the health of your intestinal microbiota. A great way to drink to your health!

Steps

  1. Slap the thyme in the palm of your hand, then put into a shaker. Add the juices and honey, then ice cubes. Shake vigorously..

  2. Strain into cold glasses and top each cocktail with kombucha.

  3. Garnish with citrus fruit slices and fresh thyme sprigs.

Recommendations

Turn this virgin cocktail into an alcoholic drink by adding 1 oz. (30 ml) vodka to the mix.
